Gardening Sessions

Many people are turning back to the basics of growing their own greens, no matter the size of their garden or balcony. Such activities are beneficial to everyone's health and wellbeing.

There’s a world to discover during our gardening classes.

Learn to set up your vegetable or flower garden, sow seeds, plant vegetables or flowers and grow them. It doesn't have to be complicated or hugely space consuming. This can be a great activity or project for the kids, adults, the elderly or all of the family to enjoy as you learn some easy gardening with us.

Save time

Give your kids something to do! Life is busy enough for you so why not get a qualified practitioner to engage with your children and teach them some new skills.

Look after your Mental Health

We know that love for nature grows from early days. Children start learning from the day they are born, through touch, taste, sight, smell and other senses. Nature soothes, relaxes and heals us. We all need some time with nature, whether it's a walk in the park or a simple job in the garden.

Plant flowers

Learning how to choose, arrange and plant your flowers in pots or baskets will provide you with the year round pleasure. You will always look forward to new blooms in your plants, and your garden will never look dull again. This is a learning opportunity for kids or adults who would love to acquire some simple gardening skills.

Grow your greens

Learn to set up a little vegetable garden in your green space and enjoy freshly grown greens on your table. There are many different vegetables that can be grown in small gardens or balconies all year round. Let us know if you or your little ones need some help!

"I was very fortunate to receive many different new plants from my neighbour who worked in Chelsea Flower show, however I struggled to find out the names of those plants and care guides to help me with planting them. This is when Virginija helped me. Before even walking into my back garden Virginija has noticed my Wisteria at the front door and pointed out that it was infested with the scale insects, which I hadn't noticed before. She also found some information for me on how to treat my Wisteria. This hugely impressed me. Thanks to Virginija my Wisteria was saved.

Furthermore, when planting my new flowers Virginija was very knowledgeable and creative. She advised me on best spot for each plant in my borders, pointing out the hight, colour matching and needs of each plant. She also helped me to sort out some of my flower pots and regroup them in my garden the way that the garden became much more organised, spacious and tidy. Virginija also provided me with lots of links about my new plants which help me to look after them.

I highly recommend Activity Gardens and will definitely use them again. Next is the garden styling that I'd like to try.

“I have used Virginija to help with my garden. She was absolutely wonderful, hard working, knowledgeable. I am so glad that I now have her in my life. I will definitely be using her again.”

Gillian H, Fulham, London

“Virginija has given us some excellent advice on the right plant for the right place in our rear and front garden. As a novice gardener , I have found it really useful to have assistance so I can learn as we created and maintained the garden together. My son (5) has also got involved with growing vegetables and flowers from seeds, he's been so excited to see the sunflowers growing and eat his homegrown strawberries. The creation of the fairy garden & bug hotel have been a great hit too! It's been lovely to see his enthusiasm and excitement for being involved in these projects.”
