about gardening club
Nature studies is one of the most favourite learning areas amongst the children in early years. Natural world fascinates and enriches them with new findings, sensory experiences, knowledge and understanding about their surroundings, environment, issues and solutions.
Our 30-45 min per group gardening lessons are carefully planned and thoughtfully organised for 3-5 year olds to understand the content, participate, learn and have fun.
We are proud of our young participants for their keen engagement, curiosity, discoveries and growing knowledge that demonstrates the benefits of our gardening club.
Our Primary school students learn to work on various gardening projects together, brainstorm their ideas, plan, help each other, create and enjoy the results of their work.
Gardening activities have positive impacts on children's and young people's physical and mental health. It helps to develop patience, teaches some specific skills for the future, improves social skills and sense of responsibility, teaches self-regulation and many other important skills.

TESTIMONIALS
"B. absolutely loves gardening club. We have lots of fun talking about what you are all growing and we had lots of fun trying to complete the homework. We are about to move house and B. can’t wait to plant the seeds he was sent home with.
Thank you for running such a fun class."

"H. absolutely loves the new Gardening Club! He has been so full of enthusiasm about plants and insects and he is always talking about Miss Virginija. As a parent it’s also been really nice to see Miss Virginija at the nursery and to hear what she’s been teaching the children. H. has been very inspired and we had a trip to the garden centre to buy some seeds and plant flowers in pots which he checks on everyday."

"I wanted to let you know how much H. has been enjoying his weekly gardening sessions. He has loved pointing out plants in the neighbourhood and encouraging us to plant more seeds in our garden. It’s so nice to see his enthusiasm for the outdoors and being aware of the plants around us."

"G. loves gardening club with Virginija, it’s the highlight of his week at nursery! Virginija pitches the lessons perfectly for 3 and 4 year olds with lots of hands on learning. G. now has so much knowledge about worms and planting that he’s able to teach me! It’s so lovely to see such an excitement for learning and curiosity about the world around him! Thank you Virginija!"

"We would like to say a big thank you to Virginija for her inspiring approach in regards to the gardening sessions. Our daughter K. is so happy when she spots flowers and she wants us to take a picture whilst she points at them.
She enjoys counting them, and she doesn't want to cut flowers anymore, because she is starting to realise their beauty.
We also have our little Easter grass garden and K. checks it every day and makes sure it is in the sun and has water.
Once again thank you for connecting the children with nature and developing their emotional approach."
